  From Jamaica Church of England Register Transcripts for Trelawny, 1837 (familysearch.org) W. F. Perkins, Practr of Surgery, age 62, died Falmouth, Buried Aug 2 in Church Yard by Wm Frasier Rector From Will Book (No 118, pg 35, 1837-1838) William F Perkins, physician, of Trewlawny, Jamaica, names daughter Elizabeth Perkins of London, UK and Caroline Perkins of St. Ann Parish, Jamaica, sons Cyrus F Perkins, Henry Perkins and Phillip Perkins. Also names my friend Miss Louisa Vanzee. From "The Descendents of Edward Perkins of New Haven, Conn" by Caroline Erickson Perkins William Francis, born in Horton, N. S., about 1769, was educated at Kings College, Windsor, Nova Scotia, and in London, where he graduated as surgeon and physician; married an English lady, went to the Island of Jamaica, and settled at Falmouth. Having received an excellent education, he could adapt himself to any company. He was a fine-looking man, six feet, four inches, well built, and very neat in his appearance. His wife died in 1827, while he was on a visit to his relatives in Nova Scotia. The date of his death has not been learned. His sons were noted for their scholastic attainments, and it is believed they continued to reside at Jamaica.
