      BIG LAKE - Jim L. Daniels, 75, a Reagan County commissioner, died Thursday morning at Scott and White Hospital in Temple. Services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church in Big Lake with burial in Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake, directed by Johnson's Funeral Home of San Angelo. Born June 7, 1900 in Annona, he married Zyla Baker Nov. 10, 1923 in Dallas. He had been a Mason since 1924 and was a member of the Sprayberry Lodge, which he helped to organize. He had been a Reagan County commissioner of Precinct 4 for 13 years, was president of Reagan County Loins Club, and a member of Big Lake Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; a brother, C.M. Daniels of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. W.H. Burton of Dallas; and several nieces and new nephews.
