  from findagrave biography Martha Jane Woods moved with her family to Lucas Co., IA from Barry, IL. Then in 1873 they moved to Smith Co., KS. After her father's death in 1892 she made her home with her brother, Edmond L. Woods. They moved to Republic Co., KS in 1913. She died at the home of her brother, Edmund in Courtland Twp., Republic Co., KS. The Christian Church minister of Lebanon, Smith, KS conducted the grave site service. She never married.
