  from "The Oskaloosa Herald", 3 Jul 1913 (posted on findagrave.com) WOODS - Barbara Ellen Woods was born May 3, 1858. She was united in marriage to Chas. F. Woods in the year 1879. To this union was born ten children, seven of whom survive her. She died at her home in Oskaloosa, 1201 Second avenue west, on Tuesday, June 24, 1913, and was interred in White Oak cemetery. Services were conducted by Mrs. Aubrey of the Salvation Army. Mrs. Woods was a good wife, a kind and affectionate mother. She bore her suffering patiently and was never hear to complain. She will be greatly missed in her family circle.
