  From "The History of the Woods Family, with a genealogy of Alexander Woods" Thomas ... married Esther (also written Easter) and they lived on a farm in Mercer County, Pennsylvania Census Record indicate Thomas birthdate to be between 1765 and 1774, and that there was one girl born from "Pennsylvania, Wills and Probate Records, 1683-1993", Vol 1, pg 196 (ancestry.com) Thomas Woods, a blacksmith, of West Salem, Mercer, PA names two children Nancy Ann Knox and Orpha Knox (no relation stated), brother William's son Thomas Woods to settle estate, sister's son Robert Early, brother John Wood's son Thomas Woods.
