  From "The Greenville Record-Argus", 26 Apr 1912 (newspapers.com) Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Woods of Dallas, Oregon, are visiting Mr. Woods' uncle, Wellington Wood, and family, R.E. Woods of Transfer, and other relatives in this locality. Mr. Woods left here twenty-seven years ago to take a position with the Oregon Short Line at Dallas and has been in continuous service with that company ever since. This is Mr. Woods' first visit here since his departure, twenty-seven years ago.
