On 31 Aug 1898 in North Platte, Lincoln, NE, Harry E Worrell, 25, a resident of Brady NE, born IL to Frank Worrell & Mary E Stedman, married Josephine Addelaide Day, 23, resident of North Platte, born IL to Geo W Day and Louise Dey.
    • H. E. Worrell and Miss Josephine Day were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents Wednesday evening at eight o'clock by Rev. Geo. A. Beecher. The ceremony was performed in the parlor and the bridal couple stood in the bay window which had been converted into a veritable floral bower. The bride wore a handsome white organdie and carried a bunch of white roses. The groom was clad in the usual black. They made a very fine looking couple. At the close of the wedding ceremony an elegant supper was served to the assembled guests. In addition to the family those present were Rev. and Mrs. G. A. Beecher, Mr. and Mrs. Miltonberger, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Blickensderter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Redmond, and Miss Laura Irish. The groom, who is principal of the Brady schools, is a young man of sterling integrity and one who is bound to make his mark in educational circles. The bride has resided in North Platte for a number of years and is a very charming young lady with hosts of friends. Mr. and Mrs. Worrell left on No. 6 for their home in Brady.

      FOOTBALL VICTIM DIED HERE MONDAY
Franklin Worrell, 12, Injured in Game Saturday, Succumbs at Hospital
Franklin Worrell, 12, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Worrell, 3411 Hawthorne avenue, died at the Methodist hospital Monday from injuries received in a football game Saturday. "Franklin returned home Saturday and said he had received a blow over the right ear. Sunday morning he told us he wasn't feeling well and sat around the house reading. That nigh his father was up with him all night. Monday morning at 6 he was taken to the hospital and at 6:15 that evening he was dead. He was our only child," Mrs. Worrell sobbed. Franklin was a Boy Scout and junior member of the Y.M.C.A. His father is secretary and treasurer of the Omaha Life Insurance company. "He was a regular boy, nothing sissy about him, and he was game to the core. Had he lived he would have been a man's man," said the father today. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cole-McKay funeral parlors Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Member of his troop will be pallbearers. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery.
