He is preceded in death by his parent, Walter and Elizabeth Woods, II; son, Jeffrey Edmond Woods; brothers, Charles Woods and Timothy Woods; sisters, Joanne George, Peggy Wolmedorf, and Carol Sells. He is survived by his loving wife of 53-years, Sandy Woods; son, Wally Woods; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Justine Woods; grandson, Ian Woods; granddaughter, Adeline Woods; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Gene Lackey, Linda and Stan Matthews, and Jeannie and Bernie Blystone; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family members.
