Victor John De Franco Born May 18, 1924, died peacefully at home on September 6, 2009. Son of the late John and Anna DeFranco. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Dolly DeFranco, his children John (Sue), Kevin, David DeFranco, and Luann (John) Basim. Loving grandfather of Lanay, Jason and Kasey DeFranco and Nick, Shane and Troy Basim. Great grandfather of Preston DeFranco. Graduated San Jose High School in 1942 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Member of St. Christopher's Church, Los Gatos Moose Lodge and IAHF. Services will be at Lima Family Erickson Memorial Chapel, 710 Willow St., San Jose, on Friday, September 11, 2009. Visitation 11 am, followed by Funeral Services at 1 pm. Private burial. A special thank you to the Firemen of Station 9, you are our Heroes. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity.
