  from "The San Diego Union", 27 Nov 1969 (genealogybank.com) FRANK VOLZ RITES PLANNED TOMORROW Services for Frank Volz, 75, a retired general contractor, will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Featheringill Loma Mesa Chapel. Volz, of 3020 Lowell St., died Monday in a hospital. A native of Wisconsin, he lived in San Diego 39 years. Volz served in the Army in World War I and belonged to DeWitt C. Mitchell Post 201 of the American Legion. He was a member of John D. Spreckels Masonic Lodge 657; San Diego Commandry 25, Knights Templer, and the Darius chapter of Royal Arch Masons. Volz is survived by two sons; a daughter; two sisters and a brother, Leo Volz of San Diego.
