      Funeral services for Albert Richards, who died at his home, 365 Vine street, Friday, were held yesterday in the funeral parlors of Thomas Monahan. The services were conducted under the auspices of San Jose lodge No. 10, F. & A.M. Interment was in Oak Hill mausoleum. Richards and his brother formerly conducted a wood, coal, hay and grain business in San Jose. In 1893 he retired from business and joined the U.S. railway mail service. He served as a railway mail clerk for 27 years and was retired on pension. Richard was 73 years old, a native of Pennsylvania, and lived in San Jose more than 50 years. He is survived by this widow, Catherine E. Richards; a daughter, Mrs. Alva R. Geraci and a grandson, Joseph Albert Geraci, all of San Jose. He was a member of San Jose lodge No. 10, F. & A.M., the American Railway Mail association and the M.B.A. of postoffice
