Ellis, 64, owner of a department store and electric company in Normal Heights, died Tuesday in his home at 4633 E. Talmadge Dr. He had resided in San Diego 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Marie; two daughters, Barbara and Joan, and a brother Lester, all of San Diego. Mass will be at 9 a.m. today in St. Didacus Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Mausoleum. Benbough Mortuary is in charge.
