  from "The Boston Globe", 1 Feb 1970 (newspapers.com) ROOT - Grace Hinchman, age 76, died in Boston, Jan. 30, wife of Paul Crawford Root, mother of Philip N Wright, Jr. and Eugenie Wright Armstrong, both of Aspen, Colo., also survived by four grandchildren and her brother, Chapin Hinchman, of Mio, Mich. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Trinity Church, Boston, in memory of Grace H. Root and her mother, Lola B. Hinchman.
