  from "Michigan Obituaries, 1820-2006" (familysearch.org) transcript form the "Hudson Post", 26 Sep 1913 Jane Rice Kinne died at Williamston, Mi, Sep 3. Was a dau of Moses & Mary Ann Hill Rice & was born on the paternal homestead in Media twp June 17, 1846. Her father died when she was 4. Parents came to Mich from NY state in 1843 & settled in Lenawee co. Married A H Kinne, of Medina, in 1866. They moved to the northern part of the state. Was the mother of 3 sons and 3 daus, two of the daus dying in infancy. Survived by her huband & 6 grandchildren, and five sisters.
