  from "Vital records of Ipswich, Massachusetts, to the end of the year 1849", 1910 (archive.org) no record found from "New Hampshire, Death and Disinterment Records" William Perkins, age 75y 4m 19d, a merchant, born Essex Mass to James, a farmer b. Essex, died on 20 Dec 1891 in Manchester of heart disease. Burial at Pine Grove. [calculated birth date 1 Aug 1816] from "The family of John Perkins of Ipswich, Massachusetts" William (James, Joseph, Josejik, Abraham, Isaac, John, John) was born in Chebacco Parish, Ipswich, Mass., July 31, 1816. He married Sarah A. Bartlett, June 3, 1847. She was born in Kingston, N.H., Dec. 10, 1824, and was the daughter of Mrs. Moses Fellows. She died of erysipelas Oct. 26, 1882, after a short illness of only five days. She was a most estimable lady and her loss is irreparable and deeply felt by her numerous friends. He removed from Essex (Chebacco) to Londonderrv, N.H., in 1832. He studied in Pinkerton Academy, and graduated from there. He removed to Manchester, N.H., in 1836, where he has held various offices of trust and represented his ward in the state legislature in 1855, 1877 and 1878. He is now a dealer in wood and coal in Manchester, N.H.
