  from "The Albany Times-Union", 27 Mar 1902 (fultonhistory.com) Niverville - A.B. Van Allen, one of the best known residents of Kinderhook, died at Foxboro, Canada, after a brief illness. The funeral took place Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist church and was largely attended. Interment was in the Woodlawn cemetery. from "The Columbia Republican", 25 Sep 1902 (fultonhistory.com) The farm in Kinderhook of the late A.B. Van Allen was sold at the United States Hotel, Valatie, on Sept. 13th. It brought $2,800.
