  from "The family of John Perkins of Ipswich, Massachusetts" Francis Moore (Henry, David, Francis, Jacob, Isaac, John, John) was born in Philadelphia, Pa., June 6, 1851. He graduated from Williams College, Mass., June, 1872, with the degree of A.B., and in 1880 with the degree of A.M. He graduated in medicine at the University of Penn., and received the degree of M.D. in March, 1876. He was resident physician of the Philadelphia Hospital in 1876-78. He was house surgeon of Wills Ophthalmic Hospital of 1878-79. He is now surgeon of the House of Refuge in Philadelphia, where he is also a practising ophthalmic surgeon.
