Memorial service will be 10:30am, Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Faith Lutheran Church in Hastings, NE with Pastor Paul Dunbar officiation. Burial will be in the Hildreth Cemetery in Hildreth, NE. DeWitt Funeral Home and Cremation Service is handling arrangements. Corles M. "Perk" Perkins was born on May 25, 1920 in Syracuse, NY to Laurence and Vera (Munger) Perkins. He married Kay Lantz Swanson on September 19, 1970 in Conifer, CO. Perk is survived by his wife, Kay; two daughters, Christina (Dan) Meyer of St. Paul, MN, and Robin (Jim) Lee of St. Louis Park, MN; three step-sons, Steven (Julie) Swanson of Lincoln, NE, Douglas (Debra) Swanson of Indianola, NE, and Jim Swanson of Centennial, CO; sister-in-law, Mary Lantz of Hastings, NE; brother-in-law, James Lantz of Thousand Oaks, CA; five grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Lloyd Perkins.
