  from "The Emporia Weekly Gazette", 14 May 1931 (newspapers.com) Mrs. J.W. Welcoxson, 215 East Eighth, received word Sunday of they death of her brother, Charles Perkins, in Wellsville. Mrs. Perkins is the uncle to C.P. Baber, Mrs. Alfred Thistlethwaite and Fred Wilcoxson, of Emporia. They will attend the funeral in Wellsville, Wednesday.
