Mr. Frank LaBar, eldest son of our highly esteemed citizen, Mrs. John W. LaBar, Jr., died in Chicago, Thursday, July 10th, after a protracted illness of typhoid fever during which illness his father has been his constant attendant. The remains arrived in Lockport Friday and the interment was in the cemetery at this place. The deceased was recently a student in the Lockport Union School. He had a flattering career before him, having already a lucrative position in the United States signal-service department and stationed at Chicago. He was but 22 years of age. The grief-stricken parents and relatives have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
