      EVELYN V. FASSNACHT
      Age 94, of Marine City, died April 23, 2001. Ms. Fassnacht was employed by Ben Franklin and Foster's Drug Store in Marine City, and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy A. Shirkey and Helen Summerville, both of Marine City; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Lloyd, Roy, Jimmy, and Bill Smith; and sisters, Edna Langell, Beatrice Sova, Hazel McKellar and Lillian Elsholtz. Services were held in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City, with the Rev. James R. Wysocki officiating. Cremation has taken place. Urn interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Activities Center or the Marine City United Methodist Church Bell Tower Fund.
