      VARNUM, LULU LEE, suffragist. She was the first woman delegate to a national political convention of one of the old parties; and is well known in Colorado as a state organizer of women's republican clubs. She is the wife of Charles W. Varnum, the secretary and state organizer of the Republican league of Colorado, and she has been his right hand in the very successful work he has accomplished.
