Joy Hinkel, age 85, died at her Carmel home on April 26. A native of Mobridge, SD, she was born March 7, 1919. She is survived by her son, Richard Pitschka of San Juan Bautista, two grandchidren, two great-grandchildren and three brothers. At her request, no services will be held. Cremation arrangements under the direction of The Paul Mortuary.
