  from "The San Diego Union", 1 Apr 1960 BEVERLY ANN VOLZ Requiem mass for Beverly Ann Volz, 13, of 5157 Ewing St., will be at 9 a.m. today in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery with Goodbody's Boulevard Chapel in charge. The rosary was recited last night. She died Wednesday in the local hospital while undergoing surgery for a brain tumor. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Volz, and a brother, Robbie, 11.
